Where the Crickets Sing

I haven’t always been a homebody - in fact it was one of the larger challenges for me as a newly wed and in my 20’s in general. Staying home felt alien to me, I wanted to be out and about, much to my husbands chagrin. On his weekends, his preference was to hang out at home, do little things or projects but be close to the house and farm. I was the one always hankering to be gone.
